Waymark Kin
Privacy
This page explains the information Waymark Kin collects and the services involved when you use the site, create an account, join the list, use member chat, or start membership checkout.
Important member-space notice
Chat messages are visible to members
The family chat is a shared member space. Messages you post can be seen by other active members and are displayed using the app's member alias behavior. Chat is not a private channel, so do not post information you need to keep confidential.
What Waymark Kin collects
When you create an account, Waymark Kin collects the name and email address you provide, together with the authentication data needed to operate that account.
When you join the waitlist or request the checklist, Waymark Kin collects your email address so the requested signup or follow-up can be handled.
When a member posts in family chat, Waymark Kin stores the selected topic and message content. Recent messages are shown to active members, using the app's member alias behavior rather than displaying the account email in the chat feed.
Payments
Membership checkout is hosted by Stripe. To start checkout, Waymark Kin sends the signed-in account email and the selected membership amount and interval to Stripe. You enter payment details with Stripe rather than in a Waymark Kin payment form.
Request account deletion
To request deletion of your Waymark Kin account, email hello@federalprisonfamilyguide.com. There is no in-app deletion form.
Sale or sharing of personal information
Waymark Kin does not sell or share personal information.
Cookies, browser storage, and analytics
Waymark Kin uses a session cookie to keep a signed-in account session available. The site also uses browser storage to remember your light or dark theme preference.
When analytics are enabled for a deployment, the site creates a local browser storage identifier named polsia_vid and sends a visitor beacon to the configured Polsia analytics service. This beacon is conditional on the deployment's analytics configuration. No other analytics or advertising tracking is described here.
